I have been fly fishing and fly tying for over 20 years. This began under the tutelage of André Puyans in Walnut Creek, California in the late 70s and was briefly a competition fly tyer by 13. I now tie purely to fool the fish not other humans and my skills have deteriorated and I like it that way. I am a licensed guide and has been assisting Jimmie Morales and Sierra Flyfishers on a seasonal basis in the Sierra.
