Alvord Creek Southeast Oregon

Notes:

Here's a few photos from my recent trip to Southeastern Oregon.  I just had to go check out the Alvord Creek.  I have also had the Willow Creek Cutthroat in my sights for a long time.  Finally made it out there.  I also caught Catlow Valley and Harney Malhuer redbands. I'll need to make another trip out there next summer for the rest of the redbands.  If anyone heads out that way with what's left of this summer, grab my flybox, which I left on the side of the Catlow Valley stream.

Using the 8-weight with split shot, an indicator, and weighted nymphs due to "big water" conditions
Beautiful red colorations. Very unique if not highly hybridized.

The lost flybox is here.

Willow Creek Cutty. I'm as proud of this fish as any.
