The article mentions that the tiger trout is strictly a hatchery fish. In Canada perhaps, but there have been documented tigers among wild trout populations in PA, MD, and WV.
Our state quit rearing the tiger in the hatcheries about 10 years ago, but I found this guy during a fingerling stocking in 2007.
