Making better use of images is at the top of my to do list. It would be easy to make it possible to add pics to forum posts. But I also want to set up some sort of picture gallery system for each user, and integrate this with whatever module is used to upload photos into forum posts. There are a few options for doing this, and I want to check them out before enabling one.
So the long and short of it is: it should and will be soon. I'm a little busy with other stuff this week, but I'll work on it.
OK, it should now be possible for everybody to upload photos in the forums. The interface is a little austere, but it works.
In the text editor, click on the picture of a tree. That will open a popup. In the top right corner you will see a mini folder with lots of minier folders inside. Click that.
A new popup will open. It will take you to your directory on the server. If you already have pics there, you can select one and push 'send to tinyMCE' at the top. If you don't have any photos yet, you can upload them by pushing upload. If you want to create some small versions, select what you want created. Upload them. Then select them and send to tinyMCE. Should show up in your post.
