New Here - Would like to introduce myself

Hi All

Just registered on the site and I like what I see.  I am from Maine, long way from Colorado but a good place to fish as well.  I would also like to invite all to check out my site as well www.loonsecho.net/lfp/

I really like the idea of having a community of fisherman and fisherladies to communicate with.  Sites like this and the one I have have a great place on the web, and add a lot to the sport we all love "Fly Fishing" and especially wild fish.  Unfortunately in the North east there are very few places with wild trout, but there are some and some are great.  I have fished the famed Rapid River and have caught many wild brook trout in the 18 to 22 inch catagory, upto 4 lbs in size. 

But my most charished fishing are the mountain streams of the White Mountains in New Hampshire.  I can fish all day long on these rivers and see not another fisherman.  The fish are small but a 6 foot 4 wt glass rod makes them seem like whales and they sure are aggressive little fish, maybe up to 9 or 10 inches long.  Stream reared rainbows in these streams can be a blast, they are like pinballs when you hook one and they are all over the place before you can land them.
