Just wondering if anyone here has participated in the Fly Fishing Federations version of the cutslam. I would like to give it a go. I am not looking for water. ( research is the most fun). Just wondering how much interest they have in it.
I haven't done it, although I have caught the required fish. The problem is that I am not an FFF member... I have talked to a few people that have done it and it sounds like a cool challenge.
Hi Gigharbor, when I read that you said " I have caught the required fish" It made me chuckle because I have been following your website and seen the fish you have caught. It is an amazing website with amazing trips. It seems that most people I have talked to have just resubmitted there cutslam fish over for the fed challenge. I am thinking I would like to try both but with different fish. I recently completed the Cal HTC and I am obsessed now with native trout.
Hi WVBrookie, very cool, which four Cutthroat are you submitting? I was thinking it would be fun to turn in a Humboldt, a Coastal, Lahontan and maybe a Westslope from the John Day. A good excuse to waste lots of gas.

When I recently transferred to Cincy, I joined the FFF as a member of Buckeye United Fly Fishers - there is no local TU chapter.
I was planning on submitting previous catches as qualifying fish.
