Not completely - but close. We set out to accomplish the Wyoming Cutt Slam, but only got a double...Even so - Wyoming is a beautiful place, and if nothing else, this gives a a good reason to return.
We got Yellowstone Cutts and Snake River Fine Spotted Cutts. We had a great trip and a lot of fun with the family - this was a lot more than just a "fishing trip" and we did accomplish a lot of other goals - like just chilling with the family and seeing some new sites.
It was my first time fishing Wyoming in more than twenty years...and I have a much better understanding of what a great state Wyoming is. We hope to return next year for a more "formal" fishing trip... and complete the slam.

Failure? Not likely!
Any time spent in beautiful surroundings (like Wyoming) and being with family and friends is no "failure" in my book. Catching fish is a bonus and a nice way to pass the time while you're there, but it sounds like a great trip no matter what.
