Thanks to Ben Roussel (aka fishtaco) and Lance Coley, bass have now made an appearance on the site. The range maps (created by Ben) are truly extraordinary, much better than the ones I managed to produce for the salmonids. Check them out at the bottom of The Fish page.

I know very little about it, but I'm looking forward to a little more discussion about these fish.

Thanks

Thanks for getting the bass pages up Anders, they look good. However I'm having a problem viewing the maps, I'm not seeing them on the individual bass pages. Anyone else having this problem?

It's a Browser Problem

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

First, the site is using two different systems to display maps. Originally, I was creating and displaying the maps from within the system--most of the trout use this system. However, so that others could modify and create maps, I decided to simply pull them from Google Maps and display them as an iFrame. That's what I did with the bass.

This works in IE, Firefox, etc. But it looks like for some reason the Safari Browser will not display the iFrames.

I'm sure there's a way to fix it. I'll look into it. In the meantime, you might want to try another browser.

Browsers

I've tried Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 8, and Mozilla Firefox and still no luck.

Hmm. I guess it is more complicated than I thought. It works for me in Firefox, but not in IE or Safari. I didn't try Chrome, but I will take your word for it. I'll try to figure it out and get it fixed.
