I set up this website (with a lot of invaluable help from Cutthroat Stalker, Dave B, gigharborflyfisher, and WVBrookie) as a hub for people interested in catching native fish and keeping a life list.
My book, tentatively titled: "An Entirely Synthetic Fish": How Rainbow Trout Beguiled America and Overran the World, will be published by Yale University Press in March, 2010.
I live in Boulder, Colorado. Since I have three young kids, I don't get to travel far for fishing very often. But I'm plugging away at my life list.

I love the web site. The idea of catching as many different native and if possible wild fish interests me a great deal. Let us know when the book is published as it sounds like an interesting read. I will be passing through Colorado around Sept. 20th in search of the Greenback Cutthroat. If you can free up some time maybe we can meet up on the river.
