Brown Trout from the East Walker River, CA

I went on a California fishing trip with my Dad and brother.  We fishing all over central CA during the 2008 summer fires.

We spent a day on the East Walker River fishing for browns.  The river runs right alongside the road.  The banks are very overgrown with bushes.  You have to fight your way upstream.

I managed a few small ones but Dad caught the 18 incher.  He said that he landed it, went for the camera, then it came unbuttoned before he got the photo.

Hey, he's my dad.  I have to believe what he says!
