Apache Trout up high

My cousin got married in Tucson.  I brought my rod so that I could try for Apache Trout.  I got a tip off of a chat room about a small stream to fish for apaches.  I don't know if it is popular or not, but I promised not to say where.

It was 90 in Tucson.  When we got to the mountains, it was snowing.  I found the small creek, rigged up and went for a walk.

The stream was 6 ft wide and had quite a few Apache trout in it.

I caught a few for pictures and then headed back for the rehersal dinner.
